Lessebo Paper is delighted to announce that two exceptional books crafted with its fine paper have been honoured at the prestigious Swedish Book Art Awards – Svensk Bokkonst. Celebrating 90 years of outstanding book design, Svensk Bokkonst recognises the art of bookmaking through an annual selection of works that exemplify quality and innovation in design and craftsmanship.
Out of the 25 selected titles, two books featuring Lessebo Paper have been awarded for their unique artistry and impeccable production quality.
The first title, Hårresande: våmhuskullornas hårsmycken & vandringar by Ida Halling, published by Bokförlaget Arena, uses Lessebo Paper’s Livonia Zero Offset 140g. Offset-printed to enhance every detail, the book showcases intricate maps illustrated by Knut Stahle, bound in an elegant half-cloth cover that epitomises Swedish book design.
Another standout is Fattigmärket by Maria Sandel, published by Bostadsrättsföreningen Kronobergsgården, printed on Lessebo Scandia 2000 Ivory 170g. This book marries creativity with historical significance, employing Risograph printing to accentuate the delicate illustrations by Ulf Sveningson, offering readers a distinctive visual and tactile experience.
