The Augsburg based manufacturer has proven this in the last few years, with successful installations of the FoldLine and FormerLine digital finishing lines. The systems are so effective and fast, they have convinced renowned digital printing companies like GGP Media, a subsidiary of the Bertelsman Printing Group. And that’s not all: In addition, manroland web systems provides software and workflow solutions for complete networking of the whole press room – even offset presses can be incorporated from now on. In Pößneck, the system of a competitor for a letterpress line is currently being replaced with a solution from Augsburg.

2017 was a fantastic year for RMGT in the North American market. More presses were sold and installed in more locations across the country. In particular, RMGT is proud to note that the 50th 9 Series press in North America was installed in the fall of 2017, joining more than 700 other 9 Series presses installed worldwide. 2017 also saw rapid growth in long perfecting presses, demonstrating the growing strength and popularity of one-pass printing and LED UV technology across the offset print space.

Q.I. Press Controls (QIPC) continues to thrive on the Indian print market. The Dutch specialist in measurement and control systems for the web offset market recently received five new orders from printing concerns in the Kolkata region of West Bengal: CDC Printers; Sristi Graphic (two separate orders); Darpan Conclave; and NAP Printers. A sixth order was placed by Bhiwandi-based Print Plus. “It is a promising sign that existing clients are satisfied with our products and services.”
