On the last day of drupa 2024 it is inspiring to look back on a vibrant show that has been dominated by so many encouraging and fruitful meetings, conversations, and collaborations.

Those joining us in our HENKAKUVERSE have been exploring how HENKAKU, the Japanese for transformational innovation, infuses every element of our striking, Japan-influenced stand.
First there’s the House of HENKAKU theatre that welcomes them with an immersive show highlighting how our groundbreaking inkjet and toner technologies enable Co-innovation across various market sectors. The amazing space has been undergoing its own transformation with daily friezes created by the incredibly talented manga artist Shinnosuke Uchida.
There are the technologies being publicly presented together for the first time. There’s the Harpy Eagle – the RICOH Pro™ VC80000 high speed webfed inkjet press; the Dragon – the RICOH Pro™ Z75 B2 sheetfed inkjet press; and the newly enhanced Jaguars – the RICOH Pro™ C9500 and the RICOH Pro™ C7500 sheetfed toner-based presses.
Visitors have also been seeing how our value adding software, and expert services and support, can deliver great efficiencies and introduce more intelligent ways of working. Workflow automation and offset to digital migration have been the subject of many conversations with Print Service Providers looking to future proof their businesses.
Real life examples of how this combination of capabilities can inspire operations to explore new opportunities, reinvigorate services, and carve successful futures, are being showcased in our Co-innovation Hub.
But it is not just on our stand where the power of partnerships in Co-innovating market leading production solutions is being demonstrated. Around the 17 hall show, visitors have been able discover how our technologies can be integrated with those from Hunkeler, Tecnau, Contiweb, Horizon, Duplo, and Layflat.com.
This commitment to delivering market responsive technologies and the benefits this delivers to our clients has been recognised by two very prestigious accolades during the show. The first was being named global number one in market share for high speed continuous feed inkjet systems by IDC. The other was the Buyers Lab Pacesetter Award from Keypoint Intelligence for print production sustainability.
Clients see the possibilities for themselves, which is why operations have been choosing to collaborate with us. Clients such as Cimpress. It agreed on the stand to invest in a Pro VC80000 for one of its leading Vistaprint operations. Many more deals have been completed, with some major operations from Europe and beyond, including for the Pro Z75. Orders have flowed in for multiple high speed inkjet systems, as well as even higher numbers of toner-based devices, and for software too, from clients from all around the world. And I want to take the opportunity to thank all our new, as well as existing, clients who are putting their faith in us. We look forward to long and productive relationships.
So, as drupa draws to a close, we have enjoyed welcoming tens of thousands of visitors to our HENKAKUVERSE and we look forward to helping as many as we can Co-innovate successful futures.
