palamides GmbH, the leading provider of automated deliveries and stackers for the printing industry and Popp Maschinenbau GmbH, a mechanical engineering company known for innovative paper converting and packaging solutions, are working together on a shared stand at drupa 2024, highlighting their collect-to-box (CTB) solution.

The CTB solution, will make its debut at drupa 2024 (May 28 - June 2, 2024) in Düsseldorf, Germany, focuses on enhancing postpress operations by streamlining print job deliveries. It emphasizes stacking efficiency, scalability and versatility, catering to a range of production requirements, from simple palletizing to more complex productions.
"The collaboration between palamides and Popp Maschinenbau marks an important step in improving print production processes," said Stefano Palamides, Managing Director of palamides GmbH. "The CTB solution aims to optimize operations and increase flexibility in postpress production."
The patented band-gripper system at the core of the CTB solution addresses existing limitations in gripping systems, enabling seamless handling of stacked products within boxes and eliminating the need for manual adjustments during processing.
At drupa 2024, visitors can explore the CTB solution, showcasing its adaptability across various postpress processes, from folding to perfect binding. The prototype integrates the complete CTB toolbox, offering versatility in integration with different production lines. "We're dedicated to delivering practical solutions that enhance print and packaging workflows," said Tony Wolf, Head of Postpress of Popp Maschinenbau GmbH. "Our collaboration with palamides aims to present solutions focused on innovation and customer-centricity."
palamides and Popp Maschinenbau invite attendees to visit Hall 6 / F22 (palamides) and Hall 6 / F24 (Popp Maschinenbau) during drupa 2024 to explore the CTB solution and other automated deliveries shaping the future of print production.
