The successful entrepreneur Fernando Aravena is well-known in the Latin-American labelling industry by running label printing operations in Argentina, Peru and now again in Chile. With his new venture company Vinograf, he is focusing on premium labels for the export of Chilean wines.

Over 120 attendees gathered in Düsseldorf for the premiere Direct Container Print conference to discover the value of screen and digital solutions for direct-to-shape print. Held on 23 and 24 November 2015, the ESMA event featured 17 presentations and laid solid grounds for the continuation of this well-received concept. Delegates and exhibitors actively discussed the implementation of new technologies and their impact on food and beverage, personal care, beauty and household packaging decoration markets.

In the Plan B project, Metsä Wood explores the possibilities of wood by planning how to construct iconic buildings out of wood. The third case is the Reichstag, the home of the German parliament. The design was created together with Metsä Wood's customer and partner, the leading German timber construction company FH Finnholz, specifically their construction engineer Andreas Rutschmann.
