From the very start, TTP has taken a leadership position in digital printing. As well as providing an impartial fast-track route to the development of printing products using commercial printheads, TTP has developed specialist technologies that enable a range of complex functional inks containing, for example, biological materials, ceramics and metals, to be digitally printed.
When one of TTP's business areas developed a new electronic aerosol, the idea soon spread. The technology was intended for a medical device, but it also presented a fantastic opportunity for a new type of inkjet printhead.
