Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe announces that since the introduction of its ''Enabling Carbon Neutrality'' programme five years ago, the company and its customers together have already offset more than 30,000 tons of CO2 emissions . This corresponds to a distance in excess of 93 million kilometres with an average passenger car, which is the equivalent to approximately 2,300 trips around the world (along the equator) by car. Customers from sixteen countries in Europe have made a significant contribution to this.

As part of the work of the Ghent Workgroup Creative Outreach Subcommittee, the GWG iconography project was announced in early March 2020. Following close consultation with exhibitors and partners, the 2021 edition of drupa, the world’s leading trade fair for Printing Technologies, will be cancelled due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. The next event will take place as scheduled from 28 May to 7 June 2024. To maintain the momentum until then, the organisers will be holding a four-day digital event titled ‘virtual.drupa’, to take place from 20 to 23 April 2021 during the time frame drupa was originally scheduled for.

UNESCO and the World Association of News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) are joining forces to address the impending global emergency facing independent journalism.
