Ricoh is again awarded Gold in the sustainability study conducted by EcoVadis. Since receiving its first gold rating in 2014, Ricoh has consistently received the highest rating in the study.
EcoVadis evaluates suppliers from 155 countries and 198 business sectors on corporate policies, initiatives and performance in the areas of the environment, working conditions and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Ricoh submitted its sustainability performance indicators to EcoVadis for evaluation and is now again in the top 5% of all companies evaluated.
Many global companies are striving to improve sustainability throughout their value chain, as it has become a key factor in supplier selection. It is becoming increasingly common for customers to ask Ricoh to provide EcoVadis assessment results as part of the supplier selection process.
Ricoh considers this Gold Rating as a confirmation of its initiatives in support of sustainable development (SDG) objectives.
