U.S. Energy Innovator Brings Jobs, Automation Platform to Grow Clean Energy Economy
Interactive energy platform developer Innovari has partnered with TEKsystems Global Services, the IT services division of TEKsystems, to open a technology center in Bangalore in June.
Innovari's new India Technology Center (ITC) establishes a center of excellence in India to enable development and rapid delivery of its technology across the country and to support Innovari's global expansion. Innovari has an expanding role in optimizing India's power grid with its Interactive Energy Platform™, having signed deals with several utilities throughout the country. The ITC opened this month with a dozen employees and will scale to support global operations and customer service functions through a partnership with TEKsystems.
"We believe that a strong, reliable electric grid is the basis for economic growth for India," said Preetha Nair, Innovari president of India and Asia. "With the ITC, we have the team to help us rapidly deploy in India and provide Innovari with a 'follow the sun' workforce for both customer support and product development to better serve our growing list of global customers."
The technology center marks an important milestone in Innovari's global expansion, which also includes a new office in Colombia.
TEKsystems provided the human resources and a secure facility for the new ITC. TEKsystems Global Services Vice President Randy Verdino said, "Innovari's India Technology Center is a great asset to Bangalore's robust IT community. We look forward to supporting its ongoing growth in its important role upholding the delivery of reliable electric power throughout India and the world."
