Printing Industries of America announced the launch of its brand-new Advanced Sales Training program designed to help sales team members through a unique blend of online learning, coaching, and accountability. Created by Bill Farquharson and Kelly Mallozzi, sales experts who have direct experience in the printing industry, the program offers two course options: Developing Your Digital and Inkjet Sales Strategy and Maximizing Profits Through Verticals.

Printing Industries of America launched a new "How to Visually Evaluate Color" course to the iLearning Center this week. Presented by Joe Marin, Vice President of Education &Training, the course is available to Printing Industries of America printer members as a free benefit of membership.

Following up on the success of last year’s webinar series, the Ghent Workgroup is organizing seven new webinars. The series kicks off on April 11th, with an introduction to PDF and the PDF/X standards and will cover both introductory and more advanced topics. All webinars are presented by industry experts connected to the GWG with many years of experience in their respective fields. Printing Industries of America has launched a new Customer Service Professional Certification (CSP) program to train and validate the expertise of customer service representatives in a production print environment. The CSP Certification program will provide vital skills in the areas of professionalism, communication, management of internal and external customers, and job production situations to deliver an outstanding customer service experience.

In an effort to enhance customer experience, Heidelberg’s Print Media Center in Atlanta (PMC ATL) will add training courses at their North American location. In the month of February, Heidelberg has two training courses scheduled for Idealliance G7® Certification and Stahlfolder performance.

IMI Europe announces new inkjet collaboration and learning events for 2017-18IMI Europe announces new events for late 2017 and early 2018, aimed at facilitating collaboration and learning across the inkjet industry worldwide. After a successful Digital Print Europe event in Barcelona in September, IMI Europe returns to Tokyo for Digital Print Japan, followed by an expanded Inkjet Winter Workshop series of courses in Valencia, January 2018.
