On Monday 23 October, editors from across East Central Africa and Southeast Asia and Norway met to share best practices in audience engagement and monetisation strategies to formally re-launch the mentoring programme at the heart of WAN-IFRA’s long-standing partnership with the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to strengthen independent media.

WAN-IFRA is launching the fifth edition of Table Stakes Europe in partnership with the Google News Initiative. This performance-driven programme, focused on change management, is a collaboration with Table Stakes architect Doug Smith. The programme will welcome 16 European news enterprises participating in 2024.

Together with their partner “New C”, drupa is creating a new and fascinating presentation format: The five-day convention “dna (drupa next age) x Imaging” focuses on the great importance of imaging technologies with regard to print and communication, and brings active players in the industry together.

The IPIA has remained committed throughout 2023 to delivering events and special projects that drive growth for the UK print industry. This has been achieved in part through supporting print businesses with access to affordable events, which provide education and high-quality business networking. Recognising Excellence 2023, taking place on November 29th, is set to carry on that mission.

Ticket sales for drupa 2024 have started. Under the heading “we create the future” drupa places the industry’s innovative power centre stage and provides a relevant platform for tomorrow’s technologies. Numerous services assist in the best planning possible for a perfect trade fair visit.

The World Association of News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) has announced today the launch of WIZONE, a groundbreaking online marketplace poised to lift connections between suppliers, service providers and news publishers on a global scale. Today's official launch occurred at the Indian Printers Summit 2023 in Kochi, marking a transformative leap forward for the industry.

Whoever wants to present themselves to the global sector comes to drupa. Like in 2024 when the most relevant trade fair for print technologies will take place again at last after a pandemic-induced eight-year break. One thing is clear already: the exhibitors will be offering innovative product presentations and riveting live demos.
