The International Newspaper Group, often referred to as ING, a professional organization open to newspaper print production executives, formally announced its 2017 Annual Conference program with a slate of national and international speakers and program hosts that may well be considered the “Who’s Who” of newspaper production experts from around the world and in the U.S.

Partnering with Future Media Lab , WAN-IFRA and its Global Alliance for Media Innovation (GAMI) launch a Start-up Park: the new exclusive business platform allows the next generation of tech entrepreneurs and start-ups to meet and engage with the global network of media executives attending the incoming DCX Digital Content Expo (Berlin, 10 to 12 October 2017). The start-up Park will accelerate the dissemination of creative solutions needed to boost the innovation potential of media organisations.

Konica Minolta has launched a Professional Print Division in Europe that has Charles Lissenburg in a new role of General Manager. He will be at the helm of the teams that will focus on providing products and solutions leading to business efficiency and value improvement for commercial and industrial printing customers.

His optimism was echoed by Jeff Bezos, owner of the Washington Post, who revealed that the paper had increased its editorial staff by 140 over the last two years.
