New Show Successfully Bridges Gap Between Print and Creative Industries

Pure Digital, the Digital Print Event for the Creative Industry, (17-19 April at the RAI, Amsterdam, collocated with Building Holland Show) has been hailed a huge success by organisers, exhibitors, partners and visitors. Attracting over 1000 visitors to see its 35 exhibitors, event delegates from a diverse section of the creative community and graphic arts markets, gained the inspiration, knowledge and contacts for the creation of unique and awe-inspiring digitally printed applications.

Xerox (NYSE: XRX) today announced that it has taken an appeal from the decision enjoining the Fuji Xerox combination. Xerox strongly believes that the decision is contrary to well-established New York law vesting the Board of Directors of Xerox with the business judgment to enter into the transaction agreement with Fujifilm (the “Transaction”) and that the decision to approve should rest with Xerox’s shareholders, not the Court.

John Wiley and Sons Inc., (NYSE:JWA) (NYSE:JWB) today announced its partnership with The Australasian Medical Publishing Company Pty Ltd (AMPCo) to publish the Medical Journal of Australia (MJA). The MJA is produced by AMPCo, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Australian Medical Association (AMA) — the most influential membership organisation representing registered medical practitioners and medical students of Australia.

Trends in the packaging industry and the increasingly rapid changes in consumer behaviour were the overriding themes at the 5th Packaging Inspiration Forum, held by the PrintCity Alliance in Hamburg on 26 and 27 February 2018. The one-and-a-half days of the event offered an ideal opportunity for further discussion of the presentations, breakout and panel sessions. The event achieved 150 visitors, a record number. As in previous years, the Grand Elysée Hotel was the ideal venue.
