PRINTING United Transitioning to a Comprehensive Online Experience in 2020
PRINTING United, originally scheduled to take place at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta on October 21-23, 2020, will now move to a powerful online experience this fall due to constraints surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. The health and safety of all attending and involved with the show remains paramount. The decision to terminate the in-person expo comes after extensive conversations, up-to-the-minute surveys, and projections that the team has been navigating since the onset of the pandemic. Details regarding the new online event experience are forthcoming.
Merger completed: Papier Union and Papyrus Germany are now Inapa Germany
With effect from July 1, 2020, the two paper wholesalers Papier Union GmbH and Papyrus Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG merged and are now trading as Inapa Deutschland GmbH. This completes the consolidation of Inapa Group, Portugal, parent company of Papier Union, Papyrus Deutschland and Inapa Deutschland, in its German business. Inapa Deutschland now employs over 1,000 people* at numerous locations throughout Germany. The headquarters are located in Hamburg.
Konica Minolta veredelt Zusammenarbeit mit MGI
Konica Minolta und der französische Hersteller für digitale Druckveredelungssysteme, MGI Digital Technology (MGI), intensivieren ihre Zusammenarbeit in Deutschland und Österreich. Im Rahmen einer erweiterten Kooperation werden MGI-Systeme künftig direkt über das Distributionsnetz von Konica Minolta vertrieben. Ebenso unterstützt der Marktführer im Produktionsdruck MGI-Kunden als alleiniger Ansprechpartner in allen Fragen rund um Service, Support und Administration. Die Kunden profitieren damit von einem dichten Netz von Konica Minolta-Mitarbeitern für die Vorortbetreuung und Weiterentwicklung der jeweiligen Kundenlösung.

Acimga (Italian Manufacturers Association of Machinery for the Graphic, Converting and Paper industry) brings together associates via web to elect 4 new board members, the arbitrators, the auditors, and illustrate the sector’s balance for 2019, discussing prospects for the next two years. From today, Saverio Lombardini (Ims Technologies), Giorgio Petratto (Petratto), Andrea Dallavalle (Koenig & Bauer), Emilio Della Torre (Simec Group) will seat in the General Council, in addition to President Aldo Peretti and the vice presidents, as well as past presidents and representatives from the product groups (rotogravure, non-woven, tissue, and corrugated cardboard).
