MdB Carsten Träger congratulates ONLINEPRINTERS
The online printing company ONLINEPRINTERS was awarded the rating "very strong" by its customers for its "sustainable commitment". In cooperation with the consulting and analysis company ServiceValue, the business magazine Focus Money evaluated over 1,700 companies from 134 industries in terms of sustainability in a study and interviewed more than half a million customers. Carsten Träger, Member of Parliament for the constituency of Fürth in the German Bundestag, congratulated the company on this award with the words: "The printing industry is making great strides towards greater sustainability and environmental protection, that is not a matter of course. I congratulate ONLINEPRINTERS on the fact that their environmental commitment has now been awarded the 'Sustainable Commitment' seal," said the politician, who is chairman of the Committee for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety.

Due to continued uncertainties and travel constraints around the COVID-19 pandemic, WAN-IFRA is calling off the World News Media Congress, which was initially planned for Zaragoza, Spain, in September 2020. Meanwhile, it has named Taiwan as its venue for the 2021 Congress and rescheduled the 2022 Congress in Zaragoza.

German brand diedruckerei.de is replaced
Since July, the online printing company ONLINEPRINTERS has also been operating in Germany under its international brand name only. Previously, the company operated in its home market under the brand "diedruckerei.de". Founder and online printing pioneer Walter Meyer took his first webshop online under this domain in 2004, thus laying the foundation for the success of the current corporate group.

drupa, the world's leading trade fair for printing technologies, has decided to reduce the duration of the trade fair from eleven to nine days for 2021. By doing so, it is responding to the wishes of the partner association VDMA (Printing and Paper Technology Trade Association) and many exhibitors to make the trade fair presentation more efficient and to concentrate the volume of visitors in a targeted manner. This is also in reaction to any continuing travel activities and restrictions.

The postponement of several European trade fair events dedicated to printing, which were originally slated to be held during these months concerned by the health emergency, has upset the international trade fair scene and the presence of other events at dates close to Print4All would have prevented some companies from properly deciding where to focus their attention and investments.
