With three production sites and six presses, Bold Printing is one of the largest printing groups in the Nordic region. With strategic locations around southern Sweden (Stockholm, Malmö and Borås) Bold prints some 40 newspapers titles and around 700 million copies per year. Bold Printing was founded in 1998 and is owned by the Bonnier Group.

Seiko Epson Corporation (TSE: 6724, "Epson") has learned that its ET-4750, L6190/L6191/L6198, ET-2750 inkjet printer and PaperLab A-8000 dry-process*1 office papermaking system have been selected to join the list of the Good Design Best 100. Good Design Awards celebrate designs that benefit and enrich our lives and society. In 2017 Epson won Good Design Awards for a total of seven products, including two projectors, four printers, and the office papermaking system, but only the most notable or significant designs make it to the Best 100 list.

The National Group has been competing and succeeding for 45 years, and they aren’t showing signs of slowing down any time soon. Leo S. Farrell, President and Owner of the business, notes that they started as a small copy and print shop. His first commercial offset press was a Ryobi 2-color press purchased in the early 1990s. “We were running work through it twice to get process color,” he said. They’ve had a few presses since then, but, Farrell noted, “we’ve come full circle back to the new Ryobi MHI Graphic Technology (RMGT) and it’s like coming home again.”

Portuguese printing concern FIG has placed an order for an automatic colour register system with the Dutch specialist in optical measurement and control systems for the printing industry, Q.I. Press Controls (QIPC). The system will be installed on a 2011 Goss Community press which has recently been acquired by FIG.
