Ricoh has won this year's iF DESIGN AWARD 2023 for the Ricoh Theta X 360-degree camera and Ricoh Pro Z75 production printer in the "Product" category. The iF DESIGN AWARD is presented every year by iF International Forum Design GmbH, the world's oldest independent design organisation based in Hanover, Germany.

360-degree camera: Ricoh Theta X
The Ricoh Theta X is the successor to Ricoh's THETA series of 360-degree cameras. The Theta X remains true to the original Theta concept, but offers new features to meet the growing demands of 360-degree photography. It is the first model in the series to feature a touch screen and improved resolution for more vivid images. A removable battery extends the camera's usage time and the external memory card provides additional storage.
Production printer: Ricoh Pro Z75
The Ricoh Pro Z75 is a high-end sheet-fed inkjet printer for commercial printing. It can output up to 4,500 sheets per hour on paper sizes up to B2. The user-friendly system supports a wide range of media types with image quality comparable to offset, meeting the needs of printers undergoing a digital transformation. Early in the development process, Ricoh teams from product design, product planning and engineering visited customers to understand how they work and used these insights to help improve product development in advance.
