Just over a year after its global launch, Konica Minolta's AccurioPress C7100 production printing system has received another major accolade: the Buyers Lab (BLI) 2022 Colour PRO Award from Keypoint Intelligence, the independent evaluation company for document imaging hardware, software and services.

The Konica Minolta AccurioPress C7100 with EFI Fiery IC-319 Print Server was named "Outstanding Mid-Volume CMYK Production Device" in Keypoint Intelligence's latest series of BLI 2022 PRO Awards tests - a print system with "brilliant" performance under demanding test conditions. The award follows TÜV Rheinland certification, which covers the relevant national and international standards for child-resistant toys and was awarded last year.

Konica Minolta's AccurioPress C7100/C7090 toner series, launched in June 2021, operates at 100/90 ppm. A range of technology and software innovations help customers focus on flexible production with enhanced capabilities while increasing operational efficiency. Print service providers benefit from advanced automation, associated reduced human intervention and improved total cost of ownership.

"In a crowded market, we are delighted with the outstanding performance of this print system, which won one of our BLI 2022 Colour PRO Awards," said David Sweetnam, Director of Research & Lab Services EMEA/Asia at Keypoint Intelligence. "We use an algorithm across multiple test attributes to assess overall performance. Systems have to perform at a very high level to even be considered for a PRO Award, so it's not just about being the best in the category."

Cord Hashemian, Portfolio Manager Professional Printing at Konica Minolta Business Solutions Germany, says: "We are proud that Keypoint Intelligence has given this award to our AccurioPress C7100 printing system after rigorous testing and evaluation. For us, it is also a recognition of our vision and commitment to deliver value to customers through outstanding products, software and services. At Konica Minolta, we are constantly rethinking the printing process and want to shape the future together with our customers."
