Paragon Customer Communications DACH & CEE prepares its locations for the future. A leading provider of solutions for innovative customer and employee communication is investing in IT technologies such as hardware and machinery in order to implement customer projects in dialogue marketing and document management even faster and more flexibly.

Progress rather than stagnation is the order of the day in the print and media industry. That is why Paragon Customer Communications has been devoting special attention to "digital transformation" for years and is constantly expanding its range of solutions in the digital environment. However, the company is not only optimising its orientation towards the future in digital, but also in printed customer communications. For this reason, Paragon is investing massively in print communications - whether transaction printing or direct marketing.
Schwandorf, in particular, is profiting from the investments: The site in the Upper Palatinate will be expanding its document output over the next few months, thereby strengthening its four-location concept for printing, packaging and dispatching business letters and invoices, for example.
The following machines will supplement the production in the future:
Ricoh VC 60000 high-performance web-fed digital printing system for high-speed inkjet printing: The machine prints at up to 150 metres per minute and produces highly variable products for Paragon customers. The upgrade to a newly developed ink technology, which meets the highest quality demands despite the high speed, is unique to date. So far, only Paragon Customer Communications has used this technology worldwide.
BlueCrest Epic: This is an innovative multi-format inserter that meets the requirements of companies with high production volumes. With the BlueCrest Epic, Paragon offers a maximum of processing reliability. This means that large orders can be processed easily and in the highest quality, in compliance with the Service Level Agreements (SLA). The Epic enables high speed processing of complex transactional and direct mail jobs, allowing operators to quickly switch between jobs without compromising on speed or accuracy.
Variable Coater VC1 from Contiweb: Based on over two years of proprietary prototyping, the VC1 is used to coat and finish a variety of papers for digital printing applications to meet the highest quality standards. Thanks to the coater, there is no need to resort to special, high-priced paper for high-quality digital printing applications. Instead, the much cheaper offset paper is used - with comparable quality. Paragon's customers thus benefit from high print quality and lower costs.
BlueCrest Mailstream Productivity Series (MPS): The high-speed inserting system processes letters with a throughput of up to 26,000 items per hour. Six insert stations enable a wide variety of applications. The Mailstream Productivity Series offers continuous tracking of each mail item and real-time control. It thus simplifies compliance with legal requirements and enables reliable results to be achieved.
ColorStream 6700: This full-colour inkjet web press offers excellent print quality and configuration flexibility for efficient and reliable production of mailings and transactional applications. The ColorStream has excellent colour fidelity, a wide colour gamut and high optical density. To ensure effective, reliable workflow management from prepress to postpress, it can be seamlessly integrated into existing workflows.
With these investments, Paragon Customer Communications is massively strengthening its locations - especially in Schwandorf - while at the same time meeting customers' increased demands for service levels and business continuity.
