HP is introducing the new HP PageWide Web Press T250 HD ahead of drupa 2020. The new HP Brilliant Inks™ expands the possibilities of commercial inkjet printing by enabling the use of coated and uncoated offset papers for the first time. This increases the range of applications for high-volume, commercial, publishing, transactional and direct mail applications.
HP Brilliant Ink™ delivers high-quality prints with vibrant colours, vivid reds and blues and high colour gloss. The new CMYK colour set offers an expanded colour gamut specifically for coated and uncoated offset media.
HP Optimizer ensures smooth colour gradients and even fills by compensating for fluctuations due to batch-dependent substrate quality in media. It also delivers high optical density with reduced show-through on uncoated offset media.
An integrated camera system and spectrophotometer guarantee quality and productivity. This system monitors print quality and provides the operator with real-time images while the press continues to produce at high speed. This allows more jobs to be captured and deadlines to be better met thanks to printing speeds of up to 152 linear meters per minute.
For the HP PageWide Web Press T250 HD, HP worked with Harris & Bruno to develop the H&B ExcelCoat ZRW Web Coater for UV and water-based coating applications. The coater is distributed exclusively by HP.
