Impressa IP60 Digital Photo Printer - the fastest, highest quality inkjet photo printer on the market
DTM Print, the international OEM and solution provider for specialty printing systems, announces that it is now including the Impressa® IP60 digital photo printer from US manufacturer Primera Technology, Inc. in its product portfolio.
IP60 is a professional color photo printer designed for high performance applications. It is specifically designed for applications such as photo booths and event photography, professional photo studios, cruise ships, tourist attractions and landmarks, amusement parks, retail photo stations and more.
Thanks to the new advanced inkjet technology, the IP60 offers many advantages over conventional dye-sublimation printers:
- Fastest printing - 2 x 6 (50.8 x 152.4 mm) photo strips in 3.5 seconds, 4 x 6 (101.6 x 152.4 mm) photos in 7 seconds and 6 x 8
(152.4 x 203.2 mm) in 14 seconds each.
- Low printing costs - 4 x 6 (101.6 x 152.4 mm) photos, including ink and paper, cost about €0.12 each. A 2 x 6 (50.8 x 152.4 mm) photo strip costs only €0.06 per piece.
- Highest print resolution - The IP60 prints at up to 1200 x 4800 dpi. Thermal sublimation printers in a similar price range print at 300 dpi, while much more expensive models have a maximum resolution of only 600 dpi.
- Lightest weight - The total weight of the printer is only 3.6 kg. Comparable dye-sublimation printers weigh between 11.4 kg and 23 kg.
- Highest size variety - The fixed standard print width is 6'' (152.4 mm). With a maximum print length of up to 24'' (609.6 mm), any length, starting with 2 x 6, can be printed without changing the roll. This allows operators to maximize profits by offering larger print sizes to their customers.
- Easy to use - Gone are the days of having to deal with cumbersome ribbons. With the IP60, simply remove the all-in-one print head with integrated ink tank and install a new one.
DTM Print provides its customers with a wide range of materials, including high and semi-gloss photo paper as well as self-adhesive, postcard, perforated, metallic and magnetic materials.
An easy-to-use photo printing software called Primera SNAP™ is available for the IP60, which can be downloaded free of charge from the DTM Print website.
In addition to connection via USB 2.0, a wireless connection via the PTLink print server is also possible. This allows users of iPad® or iPhone® to send files wirelessly directly to the printer. It supports both Ad-Hoc (hotspot) and infrastructure mode (Wi-Fi on site).
The Impressa IP60 Digital Photo Printer is available at a price of 699 € (plus VAT) from authorised DTM Print sales partners and dealers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
