Two virtual days to discover Fedrigoni’s range of papers

Live streaming events on 26 November and 3 December to explore the thought processes that lead to the creative act of selecting paper to bring an idea to life. Speakers include the designer Fernando Gutierrez, Givenchy and Dyptique, Archivio Tipografico, the printer Opero, and the video director Kristian Andrews. Over the course of the event two new monographic collections dedicated to the coloured paper range, Sirio, and to the innovative ideas for digital printing with HP Indigo will also be presented

The trials for newsprint paper production on the paper machine 6 at UPM Jämsänkoski paper mill as well as paper test runs at printing plants have been successful. As a consequence of this, the product portfolio of uncoated mechanical papers of the paper machine 6 will in the future be extended to cover also newsprint paper.

Lessebo Paper

Lessebo Paper is seeing increasing interest in its environmentally friendly papers. The company is one of the oldest paper manufacturers in Sweden and produces innovative premium graphic papers. Despite a slight decline in the paper market due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the company's machines have been working at full capacity for several months. There are no delivery problems. The company attributes this positive development to its sustainability concept.

Meech International, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of static control, web cleaning and compressed air technology for the printing, packaging, automotive and textiles markets, is expanding its production facilities to nearby Tungsten Park in Witney, Oxfordshire, UK – a 25 acre development site currently being constructed by Tungsten Properties.

Valmet will supply a fine paper making line with stock preparation and an extensive scope of automation to Asia Symbol (Guangdong) Paper in XinHui, China. The new high-capacity fine paper making line will be designed to produce top-quality woodfree uncoated paper (WFU) grades. The start-up of PM 13 is scheduled for 2022.
