The world's largest trade fair for the printing and print media industry, the "drupa" in Düsseldorf, was postponed by one year to April 2021 in March 2020 due to the spread of the corona virus. Printplus decided at the beginning of August not to exhibit at drupa 2021. Since the developments of the corona pandemic are not yet foreseeable, the Swiss software manufacturer has made this decision.

It is currently impossible to assess how the corona pandemic will develop and how visitors and employees can be protected at an international trade fair. As an alternative to drupa, Printplus is holding the "Printplus Summit" on March 25 & 26, 2021. In May 2019 the first summit meeting took place and was a great success. Managing directors from Germany, Austria and Switzerland travelled to Schwägalp at the foot of the Säntis. Reports from users complemented the informative presentations by the Printplus team. This year's summit meeting unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the situation.
Printplus is very keen to inform its customers and interested parties about the innovations at the 2021 summit meeting. On the agenda of the Printplus Summit 2021 are constructive presentations on the efficient use of Printplus PRINT, clear announcements on cost savings, culinary highlights at 2502 meters above sea level as well as the personal dialogue is still in focus.
If the situation does not calm down by March 2021, Printplus will rely on a new, virtual concept. The summit meeting will be transmitted via livestream. "Digital, personal and decentralized event concepts are becoming more and more important for us. We have also changed our training concepts and are using the new digital possibilities. Many training courses are already being held online via Microsoft teams," adds Alex Sturzenegger, Managing Director of Printplus AG.
