The World Association of News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) announced the 18 publishers participating in the fifth edition of the Table Stakes Europe programme. These publishers are now part of a community of more than 80 organisations from 20 countries, including over 400 individual participants who have taken part in the previous editions and are ambassadors of this transformational methodology.

It will be the only graphics trade fair in Spain in 2024 and expects more than 140 exhibiting companies and 11,000 attendees to take part.
Sustainability, new business models for graphics companies and industrial applications of printing will be the main topics.

The World Association of News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) is proud to announce the winners of the Digital Media Awards Middle East 2023. This annual competition stands as a beacon for digital trends, revenues, and technologies in the media landscape, drawing the top-level publishers, editors, and digital executives who are shaping the future of news media.

From 28 May to 7 June, 2024, the print industry will focus on sustainability as the German industrial association VDMA Printing and Paper Technology and drupa together invite to discuss the future. On an exhibition floor of 400 m2, the touchpoint sustainability will present a multitude of best-practice examples and innovative solutions by the most important stakeholders for increased sustainability along the entire added value chain of the industry.

The 9th All in Print China concluded successfully in Shanghai on November 4. This year's exhibition covered more than 110,000 square meters with 1,003 professional suppliers in the printing and packaging industry from 14 countries and regions, including China, Germany, India, Korea, and Japan, participated in the event.

WAN-IFRA (The World Association of News Publishers) announced its partnership with TEMS, a consortium of forty-three organisations representing hundreds of stakeholders from fourteen countries in the European cultural and creative sectors. The TEMS consortium presents the biggest European initiative to create a data space ecosystem in the media sector.

On Monday 23 October, editors from across East Central Africa and Southeast Asia and Norway met to share best practices in audience engagement and monetisation strategies to formally re-launch the mentoring programme at the heart of WAN-IFRA’s long-standing partnership with the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to strengthen independent media.

WAN-IFRA is launching the fifth edition of Table Stakes Europe in partnership with the Google News Initiative. This performance-driven programme, focused on change management, is a collaboration with Table Stakes architect Doug Smith. The programme will welcome 16 European news enterprises participating in 2024.

Together with their partner “New C”, drupa is creating a new and fascinating presentation format: The five-day convention “dna (drupa next age) x Imaging” focuses on the great importance of imaging technologies with regard to print and communication, and brings active players in the industry together.
