With a new Design Award, FLYERALARM - one of the largest German e-commerce companies and one of Europe's leading online B2B printers - is calling on creative minds to pursue their passion for design, apply for an attractive award and support charitable organisations in the process. The submission deadline begins today, 1 October, and ends on 30 November 2019.


The new FLYERALARM Design Award is aimed at creative people who wish to support selected organisations with fresh advertising motifs.
With a new Design Award, FLYERALARM - one of the largest German e-commerce companies and one of Europe's leading online B2B printers - is calling on creative minds to pursue their passion for design, apply for an attractive award and support charitable organisations in the process. Designs for DIN A4 advertisements in the categories People, Animals, Nature and Social Affairs can be submitted until 30 November 2019. The special: The participation fees will be passed on one-to-one to four charitable institutions from the respective subject areas, which can thus look forward to monetary support in addition to the winning advertisement for self-promotion. A jury of experts and an online vote will determine the winners of each category and an overall winner. The award of the prize takes place on 20 February 2020 in the citizen of Berlin Variet? winter garden.

apply. The task: Design of a DIN A4 ad motif in the categories people, animals, nature or social affairs. Support is to be given to subject areas for which selected charitable organisations have set priorities in their work. Participants can choose from the following four organisations and topics:
Children for a Better World e.V. >> Topic: Fighting child poverty in Germany
Bund für Umwelt und Naturschutz Deutschland e.V >> Topic: Climate Protection - Getting out of Coal, Oil and Gas)
PETA Deutschland e.V. >> Topic: We are all animals - against speciesism, a worldview that classifies humans as superior to all other living beings
Standpunkt e.V. >> Topic: People - Animals - Nature and our Planet. We live in a symbiosis and are inseparably connected with each other.
"As a successful company, we are aware of our social responsibility. It is therefore also important to us that creativity and inventiveness work where they are most needed," says Rolf Dittrich, press officer at FLYERALARM. "In our opinion, these are institutions that help to make the world a better place. The drafts should take up the themes, but above all touch them, make you think or smile". Proposals can be submitted until 30 November 2019 at www.flyeralarm-design-award.com, with a participation fee of 25 euros per application.
An expert jury consisting of industry experts such as Prof. Dr. Ralf Strauß (President of the German Marketing Association) or Alexander Stotz (CEO Ströer Media Deutschland GmbH) will then select the three best designs for each of the four categories or organisations. From 2 to 9 December there will also be a voting for the Audience Award on the website. The final winning motifs will each receive a prize of 2,500 euros and will be available to the organisations for use in campaigns. Second and third place winners in each category will also receive a print volume of 1,000 and 500 euros respectively from FLYERALARM. The total amount of the participation fees will be distributed equally to the four organisations - a win for all.
Award ceremony in Berlin in the 20s
The winners of the four categories and the audience prize will be announced on 20 February 2020 at the Berlin Varieté Wintergarten. The venue has been deliberately chosen - it revives the glamorous 1920s Berlin and at the same time offers the creative framework of the present. FLYERALARM also has a special connection to the capital through two City Centers and a lounge with the associated coffee table magazine TOWNHOUSE as well as numerous customers and partners. The award ceremony will be moderated by presenter and actress Janin Ullmann.
