Mitsubishi HiTec Paper has passed the monitoring audit and re-certification in accordance with the FSC Chain of Custody and PEFC Chain of Custody with success and without any deviations.

Mitsubishi HiTec Paper attaches particular importance to environmentally conscious and sustainable production of its coated specialty papers. This has now been confirmed once again by the successful FSC® monitoring audit and PEFCTM re-certification of the mills in Bielefeld and Flensburg. Both locations thus continue to carry the certifications according to FSC® Chain of Custody and PEFCTM Chain of Custody, and all coated specialty papers produced in Bielefeld and Flensburg will continue to be available FSC® Mix or PEFCTM certified.
"The world is facing major climatic and social challenges. This makes it all the more important for us to ensure that the raw materials we use and our products meet the highest standards of sustainability and social responsibility," says Nic Holmer, Director Sales & Marketing at Mitsubishi HiTec Paper. "When it comes to sustainability, our BARRICOTE® barrier papers for flexible food packaging in particular are meeting with great interest. As a substitute for plastic packaging, they are fully recyclable and thus protect not only food and consumers, but also the environment".
