MBO Postpress Solutions changes to direct sales and service channel for UK and Ireland

MBO Postpress Solutions GmbH is changing its sales and service arrangements in the United Kingdom and Ireland. From 1 September 2021, KOMORI UK will take over the Marketing, Sales and After-sales business for all MBO and H+H brand products in these regions. This is a logical step after KOMORI Corporation acquired MBO Postpress Solutions GmbH including its subsidiaries on 1 April 2020.
Steve Turner, Managing Director of KOMORI UK, comments: "The success and strong established customer base of MBO gives KOMORI the exciting opportunity to deliver and support market unique products, which perfectly complement the existing portfolio of Apressia guillotines, offset and digital printing equipment, and K- Supply consumables, enabling us to provide customers old and new with a comprehensive tailored solution for their production requirements. “
Established in 1984, the KOMORI UK Headquarters is located in Leeds, West Yorkshire. With an extensive UK and Ireland network, it is well equipped to address the diverse markets of commercial, pharmaceutical, and packaging print. The facility boasts a sophisticated and modern spare parts operation and service support infrastructure, making KOMORI UK ideally placed in both product and service offering. The experienced and comprehensive field-based sales and service team is being further expanded to include specialist expertise to support the MBO and H+H products range, so it can continue to support the demands of a growing customer base.
Thomas Heininger, CEO of MBO Postpress Solutions adds: "For MBO, KOMORI is a financially strong partner that stands for reliability, security and sustainability. Even though the acquisition by KOMORI means that some of our business processes are in a state of change, our customers will benefit in the long term from the new connection between the two companies. Above all, the acquisition has brought calm to the market."
MBO and H+H are looking forward to the future cooperation with KOMORI UK. At the same time, Thomas Heininger would like to thank Friedheim International Ltd: "Friedheim is one of the trade partners we have been working with for decades. We wish Friedheim continued success."
