Colter & Peterson is assuring customers that as an essential business, it continues to supply critical parts and service for paper cutters and paper handling equipment throughout the U.S. The company is regarded as an “essential services” organization according to the guidelines of CISA, the Cyber and Infrastructure Security Agency.

“Although our corporate headquarters is located on the coronavirus pandemic’s outer fringe of metropolitan New York City, we have remained open and so have our other offices in California and Iowa,” said Bruce Peterson, President and CEO. “We have implemented a plan for our customers and employees so we can support the supply chain industries that are delivering the necessary goods and services to help our nation during this crisis.”
Peterson said the steps he has initiated are in line with federal and state recommendations.
“My grandfather founded this company in 1932, and we have placed a high value on our employees since day one. We are following CDC health guidelines for social distancing by splitting our staff and no one is working in a group setting. We regularly sanitize our office space and production facilities. Our technicians are also following these guidelines to keep themselves and our customers safe while they perform work on-site.”
Peterson said customers should continue contacting their C&P representative for service or if they have other questions.
